El Gran Bamboo Restaurant
Welcome to the vibrant world of El Gran Bamboo Restaurant, a cherished cornerstone for Colombian cuisine nestled in the heart of Miami at 10325 Hammocks Blvd. This culinary gem is not just another eatery; it's a true celebration of Colombian culture, delivering authentic flavors and an inviting ambiance that makes every dining experience unforgettable.
As a food reviewer at Café Encore, I have the pleasure of exploring diverse gastronomies, but there's something uniquely comforting about the offerings at El Gran Bamboo. From the very moment you step inside, the aroma of seasoned meats and fresh ingredients envelops you, instantly transporting you to Colombia.
One standout dish that captures the essence of the restaurant is their Super Picada Bamboo, a feast for the senses priced at US$125.00. It’s a large platter showcasing a medley of Colombian favorites, perfect for sharing with family or friends. Alternatively, the Bandeja Paisa, at US$20.00, is a generous ensemble of traditional elements that will remind you of home-cooked meals.
- Seafood Lovers: Don't miss the Arroz con Camarones (€19.00), a dish that harmonizes rich flavors with textures that feel like a warm hug.
- Weekend Specials: Expect delight with special plates like Mondongo on weekends – a testament to authentic Colombian comfort food.
- Service Excellence: Many patrons rave about the attentive service, with standout servers like Kimberly and Viviana enhancing the dining experience with their genuine hospitality.
Customer reviews highlight not only the delicious food but also the memorable experiences created within these walls. Monica Rodriguez reflected on her first visit, expressing regret for not coming sooner as she thoroughly enjoyed the Baby Churrasco and beef empanadas. Dyangello Maurello praised the sancocho and the refreshing lemonade, while Sofia Gonzalez celebrated the restaurant's vibrant atmosphere during her birthday.

Great food, great bartenders. Last year I celebrated my birthday here and I saw the same lady sang Happy birthday. She is really good and the Band Toma la Ruta singing a tribute to Soda Stereo is also awesome! I recommend this place to enjoy with family and friend, especially on your birthday.
